This January, Paul Hills, Caroline Shipp & Hannah Clarke proudly volunteered their time and resources to support the ‘Tree Cycle’ initiative by MyWish charity.
Our fantastic staff donated both their time and our van to help collect unwanted Christmas trees from residents.
This ensured they would be recycled responsibly.
Disposing of your Christmas tree is often on the bottom of many peoples lists of important things to do, so this alleviated the pressure from people having to do it themselves.
We had an absolute blast (despite the storm) helping the community and we even captured some great pictures from the day have a look below!

Why Tree Cycle Matters?
Every festive season, thousands of Christmas trees are discarded. Through Tree Cycle, these trees are collected and recycled into chippings that enhance hospital grounds, creating greener, more welcoming spaces for patients and visitors.
Plus, all donations go directly to supporting local NHS services, making a real difference in our community.
This type of commitment to the community is something we are proud to be a part of here at Fengate Fasteners.
As a team we love to get involved with a variety of charity events. (Like our makeover of Brandon’s Preschool!)

How Tree Cycle Works.
Residents sign up and donate and the ‘Tree Cycle’ team comes right to their door to collect their tree.
It’s simple, eco-friendly and impactful.
By recycling your tree, you’re not only helping the environment but also contributing to better healthcare facilities in your area.
Our Commitment
At Fengate Fasteners, we believe in giving back to the community.
Volunteering for ‘Tree Cycle’ is just one way we show our support for local causes that matter.
Together, we can make a positive impact one tree at a time!
